1

Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

Go to the official UIDAI self-service portal. Click on "Download Aadhaar" under the My Aadhaar section.

2

Enter Your Aadhaar Number

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 28-digit Enrolment ID (EID). Enter the captcha shown on screen.

3

Enter OTP Sent to Registered Mobile

Click "Send OTP". A 6-digit OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter it within 10 minutes.

4

Download the e-Aadhaar PDF

Click "Download Aadhaar". A password-protected PDF will be downloaded. The password is your name's first 4 letters (CAPS) + birth year (e.g., RAJE1990).

Is e-Aadhaar valid as an identity proof?

Yes. e-Aadhaar downloaded from the official UIDAI website is a legally valid identity document, equivalent to a physical Aadhaar card.

What if my mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar?

If your mobile is not linked, you cannot download e-Aadhaar online. You must visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra to update your mobile and then download.
