VidhiX (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a free, public-interest information platform operated by DePrionX. This Privacy Policy describes how VidhiX handles information when you visit vidhix.co.in and all its sub-pages (collectively, the “Platform”).
The short version: VidhiX does not require you to create an account, share your name, phone number, Aadhaar number, or any other personal identifier. You can read every guide, use every feature, and access all content on this Platform without giving us any personal information.
This Policy is drafted in the spirit of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Voluntarily Provide
If you use our Contact form to submit feedback, report an error, or suggest a guide, you provide us your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your query. We do not add you to any mailing list, share your details with third parties, or use your contact information for marketing.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Platform, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected in aggregate and is used only for diagnosing technical issues and understanding overall usage patterns. Individual user behaviour is not tracked, profiled, or stored.
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Vercel Analytics) that collects anonymised, aggregated page-view data without the use of cookies or fingerprinting. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

If you contact us, we use the information you provide to understand and respond to your message.

Aggregated, anonymised analytics help us understand which guides are most used and where users encounter difficulties, so we can prioritise improvements.
Technical operations
Server logs are used to diagnose errors, investigate abuse, and ensure the Platform remains stable and fast.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell your data, and we do not share your data with any third party except as required by applicable law.
4. Third-Party Links & External Portals
Every guide on VidhiX contains links to official government portals — websites under the .gov.in domain operated by Government of India ministries and departments. When you click these links and visit those portals:
- !You leave the VidhiX Platform and are subject to the privacy policy of that government portal. Government portals may collect your Aadhaar, PAN, biometric data, and other information as required for their services.
- !VidhiX has no control over, and is not responsible for, the data practices of any external website, including official government portals.
- !We do not link to commercial third-party agents, intermediary services, or any website that charges a fee for government services.
5. Data Security
Because we collect minimal data, our security exposure is inherently low. The measures we take include:

- →Contact form submissions are processed via a reputable third-party service and are not stored indefinitely on our servers.
- →No passwords or financial credentials are ever collected or stored by VidhiX.
No system on the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

You may request deletion of your personal data. Since we collect almost no personal data, this typically applies only to contact form submissions.

You may raise a grievance with us regarding our data processing practices. We will respond within the timeframes prescribed by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy
VidhiX is a general public information service with no age restrictions. The Platform does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. ⚖️ Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
